Sensible Solutions Supplies Products for all major brands of Hardware, Software and Peripherals. We also Build New Systems to your specifications with prices ranging from about $950 for a PC that will enable you to communicate, write letters, listen to music and watch certain types of video, to about $8000 for a PC that would do just about anything you could imagine doing with a PC.
Most people want to be able to communicate, resource information from the internet, write letters, write music to CD, and maybe keep some sort of bookkeeping or accounting. You can do this with a $1000 PC. Others want to be able to also play high tech games, write and watch DVDs, practice their flying skills and keep and maintain databases, etc.
The old motto does apply here as well though, You get what you pay for.
When purchasing a PC, get some advice, don’t just grab a computer off the shelf and expect it to live up to your expectations. It might do the job for about 6 months, but that’s when you start paying out more money to get it to do the extra things that you have learnt about, upgrading it to be able to handle the software you have purchased, and you will find you will be doing a lot more maintenance on. Far cheaper in the long run to get these things enabled from new. The amount of money you pay will also determine your frustration levels. All computers aren’t alike. Would you expect your mini to tow your boat around?
You should buy a reliable computer that will last you about 4 to 6 years and that is basically the end of your hardware costs. Schedule a yearly general maintenance for your PC, and you have reliability and less frustration.
So that’s my 2 cents worth, the rest is up to you.
